iOS apps

Privacy Policy

Effective 26 October 2026

In short. My apps have no accounts and send nothing to me. They show ads from Google AdMob and Unity Ads. Those two ad networks collect some information about your device to show and measure ads, and use it to personalise ads only if you allow it.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the iOS apps I publish on the App Store under the name Evgeny Vinnik (“the apps”). I am an independent developer and the person responsible for them. You can reach me at evgenyvinnik@gmail.com.

What the apps collect themselves

Nothing that identifies you. The apps have no sign-up and no analytics of my own, and they have no server of mine to send anything to. Your progress and settings are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

Advertising

The apps are free and paid for by ads, served through two software kits built into them: the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and the Unity Ads SDK. When an app requests or shows an ad, these SDKs may collect:

Google and Unity use this to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure how ads perform, prevent fraud and, where you have allowed it, show ads based on your interests. They handle it as independent companies under their own privacy policies, and I only use ad networks whose policies protect your data at least as well as this one:

Your choices

Tracking. iOS asks whether an app may track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, or never see the prompt, the advertising identifier is not available to the app or the ad networks, and the ads you see are not based on that tracking. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Consent in Europe. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the apps ask for your consent through Google’s consent form before your data is used for personalised ads, and pass your choice on to the ad networks. You can change or withdraw it at any time from the app’s privacy settings.

Unity ads. Ads served by Unity carry a Data Privacy icon. Through it you can see the data Unity holds about your device, opt out of personalised ads, and ask Unity to delete that data.

You cannot turn ads off entirely, but you can stop them being personalised. If you would rather not have any of this data collected, please do not use the apps.

United States

I do not sell personal information for money. Some state privacy laws, such as California’s, treat sharing device identifiers with ad networks for targeted advertising as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. To opt out, choose Ask App Not to Track as described above, or email me.

Children

The apps are not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law where you live, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of the apps, email me and I will help have it removed.

Keeping and deleting data

I keep no data about you, so there is nothing for me to export or delete. Data on your device goes when you delete the app. Google and Unity keep advertising data for the periods their own policies set out. You can ask them for access or deletion through the links and controls above, and I will help with any request you send me.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects what the apps collect, the apps will be updated to match.
